Welcome Sarah!!!

Sarah Houston Baker was born today around 5 pm. She weighs 6 lbs. and 12oz. and is 18.25 inches long. Lauren is excited to have a baby sister. Mom and baby are both doing great after a fairly easy labor and fast delivery. Thank you for all the sweet phone calls, messages and prayers. We will update soon with picture.

Update on Baby Baker

Well, after my appointment today, my doctor decided to put me in on Friday morning. Matt and I are so excited and anxious as ever. Lauren is beside herself. Can't wait to see if we are having a boy or girl. Be sure to vote.

Todd and Tara's Wedding

Our friends Todd and Tara got married this summer. Matt and Lauren were both in the wedding. I just got these new photos of them form Tara. I thought they were so precious I had to share.

Joyner Shower

My friends at work gave me and Lauren the sweetest baby shower on Wednesday. I was on the verge of tears the whole time. I'm so blessed to have such thoughtful people in my life. I can't want to get the baby here and use all these precious things.

Lauren had a great halloween this year. She and Otter both dressed up as bumble bees. My pictures from Halloween night are too dark. These pictures are from our fall festival at church. She had so much fun.

Our whole family met up this past Sunday at the pumpkin patch. The kid's had such a blast. Mom nd Gary fixed us the most delicious picnic. Rhea managed to get a picture of Jessie and I with our big bellies.

You may be wondering why it has been over two weeks since Lauren's party and I still don't have any pictures on my blog. We'll the truth is I didn't have my camera. So I"m stealing other peoples pictures of her birthday and posting them. Thanks Katie and Rhea.

Lauren's teacher emailed me these pictures this week of her helping clean up the school. The school is full of containers that the children use for all kinds of lessons.

After the 3 girls finished their task they stood back to see what they had accomplished. Lauren said, "WOW! That's like a hundred and twenty-six!"

Go Colts!!

My mom, Lauren and I went to Memphis shopping Saturday. We found a couple of things for the babies room. I can't believe how close we are getting to having another baby. After shopping, we took Lauren to Kelsey's game. Kelsey is my niece and she cheers for a "Colts" team in Collierville, TN. At the Baker house, we are big Colts fans! Lauren is on her second cheerleader outfit. Naturally, she had to wear hers to go see Kelsey. The game was delayed but Lauren didn't mind. That meant she got to play hide and seek and suck on a blowpop with Kelsey before the game started.

Fishin' at Darden

Here's Lauren with her first fish. We spent a relaxing afternoon at the lake with all our cousins. Lauren caught the most fish. 5 total for this natural. Ha!!

Ballet

Our first ballet lesson. Lauren had such a great time. We had just as much fun watching her. Little girls prancing around is always precious.

Swim Lessons

Lauren graduated from swim survival class. I'm so proud of our little fish.

Baby on Board

Matt and I are expecting our second child around the first week of December. Lauren is so excited to become a big sister. We aren't going to find out if she is going to have a little sister or brother. Amazingly, She is just fine with that.
